I took a bunch of pictures but only 3 turned out good enough when I went to the dock... I thought this one was nice. I love simple settings that are beautiful at the same time :)

Nice colours and a good perspective shot. I think it's a touch out of focus though - you can see the boats and jetty on the left is blurred.

How do you Know I'm Mad? I must be, otherwise you wouldn't have come here.

I like how you are playing with the bottom third of the picture. My suggestion would now be to revisit those other shots. Unless blurry, play with cropping to reveal other, unexpected compositions tht may surprise you.

Nice perspective shot, but of what?? I like the brightness and wish I had something to focus on. You took a great snapshot.

This is an unusual composition...the interest in the shot is in the bottom third, while the middle and upper third contribute the emotion and sense of being there. That sky is cold, cold, COLD...with those wispy clouds and that light haze which (serendipitiously, in my opinion) masks the far shoreline. Now in the bottom third you have a classic perspective study, but with the lines pointing to the right instead of to the center. You have a nice balance of light and dark with the shadowed pier on the right and the sunlit piers on the left. Good texture contrast between the rough water and the ultra smooth (nearly cloudless) sky. If this were my picture, I'd crop out the right side just beyond the pier edge, since it contributes nothing to the pic... and I'd clone out all the sailboats! Yes. They only distract from the "architectural elements" here. You could run a sharpen feature on it, but you would probably get pixilation on the right pier...so I'd just leave the slightly fuzzy left piers alone. I like this shot.
