Construction began on this Court house 1n 1826. Architect William Rumbold modeled the wrought and cast iron dome after St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.. The courthouse was the scene of many rallies, speeches and several important trials, including the suit by Dred Scott for freedom from slavery and Suffragist Virginia Louisa Minor for the right to vote.In 1940, the city of St. Louis deeded the Old Courthouse to the Federal Government.

The frame and bevel, along with the shadowing and palette, really work well to exhibit your capture.

Good image. It's well-centered, and your use of the raised effect looks very attractive.

Love the way you lifted this one right off the page, not to mention a great image thrown in the mix. Well done, Bob!

Oh man .. the master framer! ... This is great Bob .. and Iike the way you RESISTED inserting a new colour for the backdrop and cast your shadow to the unfamiliar LEFT of the image. Subtle, effective ...just right.

A gorgeous piece of architecture beautifully photographed. I agree with Rob about the framing. The rounded edges are so neat, and transition into the outer frame perfectly. A 10, Bob.

A very nice combination of image, bevel, shadow and background. The image is bright and clear with a great composition and colors. Well done.
