This is a dedication to my wife Carole Anne (Annie). My wife and best friend for47 years. She has come into her own, as a fine art photographer, in the last five years. Annie concentrates more on close up images while I enjoy the vast landscapes and such that I have posted here. Together we cover a full range of images. This image is going to be entered into an international contest next week. There is no question in my mind that Annie will place in the top four with this image. I could go on bragging about her work but then I would sound bias wouldn't I? I am! Please vote and leave comments about her image so she can build up her confidence. fotobob & cameraannie

amazing colours in this one, green and yellow make a perfect natural combination of colours and a great contrast between the gorgeous sunflower and the background..
excellent framing and composition, too...i like to see the leaves visible on the left side and the blurry part on the right side. also, a touch of black makes the yellow and green colours even more intensed. good work on the lightning, too.
but that's not all. talk about the timing here - a beautiful little honey bee on a perfect flower.. needless to say anything else? absolutely wonderful.

Hi Annie, I am sure you will progress further with great success!! You have a marvelous teacher!! Go for it girl with all of your heart! This is a very nice piece of work and should do well in the contest. You know Annie, the close-ups have always been my favorite. Annie! I've seen others of your art on your website. This, however, is my favourite (so far!). You must enjoy the opportunity to get out to take these shots with the assurance that Bob is at home cooking, cleaning and ironing (as I'm sure he has done faithfully for the past 47 years!).
