Mirror lake is the largest and deepest lake that lies in front of Medicine Bow peak. It is 50 feet (15.2 meters) deep and is clear enough to see the bottom.

Simply a beautiful scene. It is nicely layed out on a simple black background with a white border without any distraction to the actual photo. Very nice work.

Hello RObert, its good to see a posting of yours again. This photo tells its own story..mainly the lake being framed by the trees so perfectly and the rocky formation in the foreground of course matches perfectly with the mountain on the other side of the lake. The frame lines surrounding the photo are simple and great. Imagining a lake 50 feet deep and being able to see the bottom is completely awesome, but a bit scaey. Im hoping you took some photos shooting into the lake more so we can see that if at all possible. Nice shot my friend!

A spectacular picture. I wish I could be there to go out and see such a clear lake. The lakes around here in Ohio are so murky that you can't see 6 inches deep.

Beautiful framing with the trees and a nice balance of white by the foreground rocks and background mountains. It’s a marvellous landscape.

Knew this was yours. :) Looks to be a very cold place in the winter. Not one of those lakes you want to go swimming in, huh?

The way you have the water surrounded by the white rocks in the foreground and the white mountains in back makes this an eyecatcher.Great border too...

This photo takes me back to my time in Wyoming. We used to camp in the Mirror Lake area quite a bit. Thanks for a great shot!
