Saturday, July 22, 2006.As I was exploring a new area for possible photographic work I stumbled across this tranquil site. It was only 0630, the sky was still clear and the lighting seemed perfect. After about an hour of capturing images I sat here for a long coffee break. The temperature at this elevation was supposed to reach a high of 72 degrees (22.2C). It was going to be a great photo shoot day! Or was it? See tomorrows image" High In The San Juan Mountains #2"

Lovely photo Robert. I like the composition, the mirror in the lake, and the framing is very pleasing to the eye. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. Anita

Oh this is beautiful. Love the lighting. The relections in the water are captivating as well. Love the framing by the dark pine tree on the left. Very professional work.

That is a very rugged looking place. Beautiful but not to be taken lightly. Glad you guys made it all right. Weather is a very fickle thing and we are reminded how fragile we are.

Bob,
Really good capture. The lighting was perfect and the coffee was probably good too. I think the San Juans cannot be beat for photogenic scenery. I hope not a lot more pepole don't find out about how beautiful iit is and crowd it all up. Just leave it for you, Annie,me and Patti.
