A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"
You are a 'Lucky Bird' (Geluks vogel...lol ) if you are
able, and get the opportunity to make such a nice photo !

Marjolein: in de eerste plaats even een complimentje voor je mooie logo. In de tweede plaats mijn complimenten voor deze uitstekende foto. Dat John je een geluksvogel noemt is leuk, maar hij zal daar, John kennende, beslist niet mee bedoelen dat deze foto op goed geluk is genomen. Laten we het maar houden op geduld en vakmanschap. Als je dat bezit kun je vaak het (fotografische) geluk naar je hand zetten. Groet, Cornelius

I have seen so many pictures of birds in flight, or taking off, or landing.
Most of those pictures have a feel of unrest... to crowded etc.
This one is a sample of how a good bird action photo should look like.
You can devide this image in 3 evenly devided horizontal layers from top to bottom. Sky, birds in action, and weed below.
Since all the action is located in the middle layer only, your eyes get a resting point and give a tranquil look to the overall image.
Great posting, but underrated.
The c index is showing a 7/10 at time of writing, but should be a 8 or 8,1 at least. But hey, the voting rates, are far of most of the times, so who would bother to check them anyway. We all know a great picture when it is presented, no need for ratings.
