oh! i like that shot and how the bricks all of a sudden make way for the beautifully composed beach. it really shows the theme of soceity vs. nature. great job.

i remember how it was in the old days
we would go outside in the grass and lay
down next to each other where we'd stay
up all night and talk to each other this way
we used to go everywhere together
doesn't matter if it was poor or fair weather
you asked me if i'd cheat i said never
i know i messed up but i'm gonna make it better
This shot evokes a nice feeling of solitude. I like the contrast between the hard brick and rippling ocean, though the afternoon shadows do pull my attention away and make the composition feel a bit heavy. But it's an interesting offset. Thanks for sharing it!
