The odd shadows kind of kill it for me, but the clouds themselves are awesome. Must have been one hell of a flight. I'm suspecting you got the Lumix with the Lieca 12X zoom...what an awesome lens! That image stabilazation helps too...I just can't figure what the strange shadows are in the picture. They bother me...sorry.
Also you can improve shots like these by manually setting the focus to infinity. The autofocus gets screwed up on the plane's window.
Oh wow...maybe it's light...are those god-rays shining through? Yeah, I think so...cancel my previous comment about shadows.
I just got an Lumix as well. It's already made me a better photographer! We probably both went for the better lens for the money over pixel count. Some of the 8 meg cameras have been reviewed as having poor lenses. I'm very happy with with at Leica lens.
Yeah, if you were thinking that diagonal light strip extending to the upper left was shadow... Nope! It was god-rays, buddha fingers, or the scientific name -Crepuscular Rays. :-) I have a wide angle shot I'll have to upload to show you how bright this was.
Did you get the Silver Lumix? (I scored a black one)
