Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. Thanks for this reminder of how wonderful trees are, with the patterns they form against the sky and the wonderful depth of green.

Well now, imagine this: I get up this morning. I go to my window. I see 2 feet of snow in my front yard, and just the faintest glimmer of earth below in the warmer spots. I come back to the computer. I vote. I see this great image in the voting booth and think....wow, someone must have put up a pic from last summer, or it's from down under. I come in to comment and I learn that this is from this year. I cry.
