I personally like the effect Gabi. Gives the horse some true definition. I would be curious as to what type of editing you did.

This has a slight HDR effect to it, at least it seems that way to me. I like it.

Looks like it has its finest winter coat on for the photo. LOL! In my humble opinion this is good old country art folks. There is alot of peace and calm coming forth from this photo that you can either walk right by, or enjoy what it has to say. I will stop and gaze at it for a while myself.

Love the textures in the horse's winter coat and mane, and your focus is right on... Great effect. although I find the horse's rump in the background a little distracting. ;-))
