I think it would have looked better if you had created silhouettes with foreground or cropped foreground out. I find it distracting from what is a sky picture. Just my humble opinion and I'm no expert by any means.

I have been told repeatedly on my pictures about the rule of thirds. If you look at your picture and think of it in three equal horizontal segments, you will notice that 3/4ths of your picture is sky. The remaining 1/4th is darkened earth. If you could have lightened the earth and cropped out some of the sky along the top, you would have been able to balance your thirds. As Tick said above, I too am no expert but a fellow amature learning from everyone here. So, by all means, remain true to your art and retain the advice you find useful.

here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)e e cummings If you have some extra time, please visit my gallery

to me there seems to be no real focal point-everything seems to run together.
