thats a pretty tree, but the composition seems too cluttered, theres not anything for the eye to rest on, maybe it would have been better to isolate some of the flowers on the tree and get a macro of them.
I like how the light reflects off those blossoms. However I would suggest thinking twice about shooting into the sun when it is this bright because it is distracting. The composition could be greatly improved if you could photograph the tree side or front lit.
I think that the focus of your shot is the beauty of the blossoms. If I am correct, then a shot with the sun behind you would have lit up those blossums and given you the detail and clarity you were seeking. I really like the mood, however, that you created with the light you had and the shadows. I have cherry trees and I immediately associated with your shot. I like the blues, browns, and golds. With lighting to support you shot, the greens would have popped also.
I can smell the blossoms, Gael... With this lighting and angle, how would a close-up of a single cluster of blooms worked? The trees in the background work against those in the foreground, I think... Keep clickin'!
All the best,
Daniel
