Shading from mauve to purple has been captured however I do think its a shame that the
the one in the background was not removed before your capture

This one needs to be full screen to fully appreciate it. That said, the background, while purple, is a bit busy. Nice range of purple tones. I like best the shadow of the...ahh (my vocabulary is failing here) stamen? on the brightest petal.

Lovely shades of purple, I too would like the one in the background removed, but the closeup is showing your details nicely. Nice post.
