Bursting through? I've had the experience. Sometimes I'd just as soon stay in the darkness.

see the light through the darkness ... nice! It strikes me as an image of hope and beguiling promise toward drawing the viewer out to what lies beyond. The greens and splash of sunlit pink are intriguing in their hues. Almost unreal. They remind me of those old black and white photographs that were tinted with watercolors. And the pool's reflection lends us the sky that our eyes cannot see. In looking at the photograph, I find myself feeling the irresistible urge to try to duck down just a little bit more, so that I can see further into the land of the light. But maybe that speaks to the power of your photograph in inviting the viewer in. :)
