I really like the concept of this shot...the composition is spot on, with the path winding and curving through the forest and disappearing out of sight. The shadows from the trees cast over the path adds another dynamic. The thing I couldn't get over was the gray sky...it looks as if they original shot had an overexposed (most likely very white) sky, which was then burned in post-processing. Usually, a little bit of overexposed sky peeking through trees doesn't distract me from the shot, but I think there's too much continuous gray in this one. Some work with layers in Photoshop or the use of a circular polarizer or graduated neutral density filter would solve this problem and produce a really dynamic shot. Still..nicely done.
