Beautiful close up

Nice shot, ripples and tone. Crop off half the distance from the left border to the tail, and Save it to where your original posted image is. Then enlarge and toggle between them. You'll see a substantial difference in impact when you compare them.
The space behind the duck is relatively inconsequential, but cropping provides more space in the direction of travel or gaze and indicates action, interest or impending movement.

Excellent capture, color, focus etc. I agree with the cropping suggestion.
