It doesn't take all that much to confuse me, but I am mystified by this situation. Maybe you can explain it to me. You are one of the most talented and prolific photographers on Caedes. I see your work everywhere and 99.9% of it is spectacular. Yet here I am commenting on your shot because it's listed under "Lonely Images". How exactly is that possible?
Now that I have that off my chest, I'll move onto this posting. I'll say right up front that this is probably the best shot I've seen today. In the old VB days, this would rate a very rare 9 from me. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that I don't like about this shot. My only complaint is that I only have a 23 inch monitor, and I want to see more. The composition is flawless. The ship is perfectly placed in the frame and in relation to the background. I've taken a gander at your gallery, and this was not a matter of luck. The colors are phenomenal. From the blue mountain in the background to the seagoing cloud cover to the red flag in the stern. The post photo work is extraordinary. While you've maintained excellent detail, the shot has the look of an oil painting by a Dutch master. If I hadn't used up my AC nominations, I would nominate this beautiful work of art. At the very least, you are hereby awarded a gold star, a "fave" and one ataboy.
