God Made this as well as everything else in the Universe, Just because you guys don't believe in him doesn't mean you gotta be straight up punks about it and insult the people that do.

And Anonymous guy who just said it looks like god didn't create it, do YOU know? Didn't think so.

Also, Person who said he doesn't exist because you say he ' couldn't make it ' I'd like to see you tell me who did then.

Stoners, You're going to realize someday that smoking actually reduces your life and causes cancer, not makes it more enjoyable =)

If you seriosly think that God and Jesus Christ dont exist, then you must have some sorta problem. I'd like to go to Shinkenso's post and just say re-say this: If God doesn't exist or could'nt have created these splendid occurences in nature, then who did? Also, God is the most powerful man in this and all universes. He could strike you down with lightning, or he could even throw in some humor and send a little kid wearing pink pants and a big hat carrying an AK-47 and have him kill you. Man you guys have no clue what your missing here, repent and meet me in heaven along with Shinkenso. Dunno about you but I'm looking forward to living in a nice big house with a big yard with streets of gold everywhere!

My comment may be a little hard to undersatnd cuz i was thinking of this off the top of my head, but anyway give up your evil twisted lives and turn to Jesus Christ. And if you think being Christian or Catholic means always getting dressed up for church or only listening to "good" music then your wrong cuz i love Jesus and I'm allowed to listen to todays "Hit Music" and people at my church dont dress up. Jesus is happy to see us show up and sing to him even if we are dressed like slobs or something. Thats all i can say lataz~ and i wanna see EVERYONE in heaven.

PS: Yes its possible

man you guys are UNREAL, its so funny the stuff you say to each other! I personally don't believe in god, good/evil, devils and the like, the universe to me is chaos and my brain is fundamentally making different connections to someone who believes strongly in god. i can't say who built the universe, stranger things have happened than it just occuring by chance, religion tends to put a human approach on something which is not, meaning they are too anthropomorphic are not open to new ideas, kinda brain-sheltered, i just thing you need to take a more holistic approach, i find your views a bit limited and right-wing!

OK, anon, but maybe some of us want to talk/learn about gnostism, and there are no filters on the site specifically stopping us from doing so, it's nice that the pictures promote lively discussion rather than relatively simple comments, maybe it's not a god discussion forum, but i'm all for a bit of variety and welcome th chance to talk shop, whatever the site motive!

I'd like to know if anyone visits life/questioning/developing message boards and which do they consider worthy of a visit.

Each of these galaxies contain about 100 billion sun-masses, each considerably larger than the mass of earth. It is only humans dumb enough to believe they are important enough to have been created in the image of a high god, and at the same time believing that the same infinitely complex consciousness is capable of universal creation, instead of accepting the simple physical laws fractally evolving the complexity of the universe, and the complexity of the earth.

There is no "right" or "correct" religion. Though you may disagree with the beliefs of others, that is no reason to pursecute them. "Can't we all just get along..."

Simply put, space, nature, science, religion: all are beautiful in there own aspects.
Try to take a little time out of life to enjoy these and other simple things.

A certain Pope once said something like:
"Science and the wonder it provokes in us should not be seen as an obstacle to faith, but as a priveleged path to faith."

I Believe in God personally, and I think that all these space photos are so incredibly beautiful and amazing that they just strengthen my faith.

It is amazing what responses some images cause in us. I hope to live in such a way that people who see my life are at least that impacted. Man, makes you feel small and precious, we don't yet know of anything else that can appreciate something like this.

Shying away from deep thinking and hard conversation never produced change in anyone's life. God blessed my seeking with knowing Him. I give Him the glory.

Hey hey,
Why is it that some religious people say things like "well then tell me who did make the universe?" as if it had to be made by the conscious decision of some sort of "being"... Pick up a copy of the book "The whole shebang" by Timothy Ferris. Read it and you'll see how the creation of the universe doesn't necessarily have to have occurred because of some divine intervention. I'm not saying that God didn't create the universe, and I most certainly am not trying to tell you that your beliefs are wrong, but please PLEASE stop using the argument "who then?". Lolz. Oh yeah, good picture!

On the quantum level, everything is energy. A rock, a house, a tree, a cat, and yes, a human being. This energy exists in a state of total interconnectedness within the zero point field. Hence everything and everyone is connected at all times. It always was and always will be. Quantum mechanics have proven this to be true. WE ARE ALL ONE. We are God and we are the Devil and we are human all at the same time. Some may say "God doesn't exist - just look at all the pain and suffering in the world." There is pain and suffering because we perpetuate such things upon ourselves - we become the "Devil". Just like there is joy and happiness. We perpetuate that as well - we become the loving "God". As long as there is hate in any one person or thing, there will be pain in the world. And as long as there is love there will be joy and happiness. It is up to us to stop the pain and spread the love. We are of greater consciousness than any other known being. STOP THINKING YOU ARE JUST A LOWLY HUMAN THAT HAS NO POWER! On the quantum level, there is INFINITE possibility. We exist on this level!! Stop praying to some lofty being in the sky. WE are that lofty being. Turn that intention inwards and it will flow outwards into the field of energy in which WE ARE ALL ONE.
p.s. cool space shot :)

I don't see how anyone can be naive enough to give the credit of this magnificent splendour to a being that no one even knows exists. I'm not the smartest person on these matters, but I humbly believe, based on logic, that the forming of the universe was a natural occurrence. 100 years ago religious folk would've flagged the idea of galaxies even existing because it didn't coincide with the bible.

To me, gods and religions are make-believe, made up to explain the unexplainable (why is the sky blue? because that's way god intended it). It's been done by all cultures since the beginning of man.

Of course this is just my opinion and I mean no offence. If there is a big guy up there he's probably waiting to get his hands around my neck :s

10\10 for the great photo btw, It's a keeper.
