The lighting makes this very attractive. Is it 6:30? No, I have my Roman numerals mixed up. It is 8:42. NO... IX is 11, not nine because VIII is 8. 8-9-10-11. It is 11:20! OK, this is a keeper! Thanks!

Excellent composition. The shadows in the back and the greenery in the front, the sun dial is in perfect focus. Colours are very restful.

I really like the play of light and shadow here. I can now relate one of my useless bits of trivia. Did you know that the finger on a sun-dial is called The Gnomen?

11:15am? I like the view point of this one, and I love sun dials. Great capture and I'm glad it was sunny for the shot. I hope you remember what time it was when you got this shot, I would love to know.

Such a wonderful lighting situation that you took advantage of, Allen. Shadows are always a drawing element.
