I took this image almost a month ago. For about a month this immature Red Tail was very visible, always sitting in one of a few trees. I haven't seen the bird for a few weeks now. I am assuming that it has moved on or ......

Garrett, I think this is the same hawk you posted once before in a different pose; both are spectacular shots. I am sure he is just checking out new hunting grounds (one I have been watching for several months has moved on, but I spotted what I think is the same one about 3 miles further east). Maybe due to the weather getting colder, he's looking for a new location.
