Thank-you everyone for your kind comments. It is all good. I have much to be thankful for. If life was easy, we would all be dead. Here is one more image from this past weekend. I have mentioned before that when a bird is resting it does so on one leg. I know that when I stand on one leg I am hardly resting. I guess that is one more amazing thing about our feathered friends. She obviously is not worried about me. I am set up maybe 15 feet away from her.

She looks like she has rolled herself into a ball and tucked herself away for the night. Great photo with the angle and clarity, Garrett.

Very cool angle. The leaning stance would hardly be resting for me either. When younger, I thought the gulls I saw were born with one leg! lol

Very clear picture of the bird. Interesting to know that birds stand on one leg to rest!

Birds must have wonderful balance!
Another fine shot - and again superb.
Your bird photos would make a beautiful illustrated book !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
