The Ruby Crowned Kinglet is one of the smallest birds that I photograph. Look at the size of the buds relative to the size of the bird. They are always busy and rarely stop in their search for bugs.

No matter what the size, or the poise and surroundings, you always really bring us marvelous bird captures. This makes another superb addition to your gallery. tigs=^..^=

It looks like it might be a little larger than a hummingbird, but not too much. Pretty little bugger, it is! Nice work, Garrett.

Kinglets come in our area for about a week in their migratory journey. This is an amazing capture because they are very flighty, full of energy, and are difficult to photograph. Very nice one!

A cute little thing - looks like it is trying to hide amongst the branches. Good shot Garrett.

It does look like a wee bird Garrett, but it didn't stop you from getting a "Calendar Quality," photo.

Long before the white man and long before the wheel, when the dark green forests were too silent to be real. Light foot 1967
