Normally very secretive, Spotted Towhees are now very visible; singing from the tops of bushes and running around with their mates.

You did good catching this normally elusive bird then...an intense look in the eye...perhaps annoyed you found him...another super shot.

He really has interesting markings, looks like he has a great looking spotted jacket showing us a lovely orange shirt. Fabulous capture and like the beautiful eye colour, he sure is giving you a stare
