This is an old house inside the Castle of Gjirokastra in Albania. It is a building of early middle ages, aprox VI century. Built with carved natural stone. The special of these constructions are the roofs with slabs that are collected in the mountain nearby. They are put one on one very naturally.

They certainly built them to last in the 6th century, Georg. A really lovely shot of this fascinating building. I like the composition where we get a view of those beautiful distant mountains.

Nice colors, especially the sky pastels. Also like the hazy background mountains.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
