This is a Rose from my backyard. I titled it Peace because, correct me if I am wrong, I think yellow rose represents peace. This was taken in early morning as sun was coming up and seem to shine on rose..thought it would make good desktop...

I think you are quite right Jerry! It's a beautiful coloured rose! and your photograph is amazing - I put my hand out to touch the flower, it looks so real! well done! Patti

Oh wow Gerry, I feel like I just had my yoga lesson by looking at this peaceful view of a gorgeous peace rose. It's an amazing photo of what I would consider a perfect rose, captured by a perfect eye. You're amazing. Thanks for sharing this today.

Gerry, I've always thought yellow roses mean "good-bye". When I checked on the internet, one source said "decrease in love". ooops. But another said "friendship." So, YOUR yellow rose means what you intended! And, it's absolutely stunning in everyway! So, now, it's our yellow rose of peace from Gerry! Thanks! - Patty

Wow. that's a keeper. Love that deep yellow color. The black background is perfect for it. All the folds are distinct one from the other and and the shadows give the bloom lots of depth. Well done.
