Well, that's a lot better than what I usually get-the south end of a north-bound butterfly at least 500 feet away. Love the capture of the pattern in the wings. This is archetecture on wings. Nice work.

Gerry ..This is an excellent shot of the Great Monarch ..it surprises me as well how they can go such a distance ..We have an abundance of them this year... They say it is ecause we have lots of milkweed this year...Heard on the news that the last time there was this many was in 98 ...thats here in ON ..I have not seen a monarch for years until this year ..
