Took this image of Detroit skyline awhile back when I was down at Detroit River shooting the sunrise. You can see the sun shining on buildings as it was coming up to left in frame..

Fantastic Gerry! I thought this was Anita's photograph as she posted a very similar one yesterday! I love the low sunlight shining around the buildings - it illuminates the city - magical picture! Patti

Wonderfully clear and detailed. The rising sun casts its promise for a beautiful day and makes the cityscape shine! It's going right onto my DT and into my favs!

I love the sky and the water. Too bad the buildings are there! LOL Maybe you could clone them out. Just kidding! Very beautiful, Gerry and thank you for posting this clear and well captured shot.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

Very nice capture. The water looks so blue! I like how the buildings are well defined. On another topic, I ate a Detroit Chicken Sandwich the other day, its chicken breast on a keiser bun with ham, cheese, onions and bacon... funny, eh?

I grew up there till my 20's and really haven't been back since. It's changed quite a bit, sill can pick out the Panubscott building but where's Hart plaza? It's been years since I've been there.
