Captured this girl at the birdfeeder station behind the reception center at Nature Preserve...actually most of my songbird post are from same place.

I agree with all above. I just love cardinals, and sometime if we get really lucky one will nest around. I can always tell when they're here because of their most melodious song...almost as good as the mockingbirds down in Phoenix :)

WOW! we do not have yellow ones here in Illinois.........looks like it could be a male almost omn the way to developing full red............I like the angle, the richness of saturation and the contrast of warm browns vs. coluration of bird.excellent
