Well I reached into archieve and I am uploading a couple of Spring flowers being as we are having a pretty dull winter in these parts. This is a bloom from a Colombine plant from my backyard captured this past Spring...I only have the one plant in my garden and should get more because it is a favorite of mine.

I love the translucent white against the dark black and pale green. It's got a dainty composure. Another beautiful shot Gerry.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Just found this! Nice shot of the Columbine - for those who are interested, this (in blue) is the State Flower of Colorado.

If you want more plants, be very careful where you get the seeds or seedlings from. It is illegal to take them out of the state of Colorado - also illegal to pick them in the state/national parks/forests
