Took these two photos of this young Fox yesterday evening. I have known about this family of Foxes for about a month...I have spotted them early in mornings but not able to get a shot of them. Anyways found a place where there is cover of bushes upwind from one of there dens. I set my tripod and camera up last evening and waited and sure enough this young one came my way. Took a couple of pictures as he walked by me but with slow shutter speed were blurred...but the noise of camera shutter caught his attention and he came right at me to investigate...got these two shots before he seen me and took off. Used Nikon D50 with Tamron 70-300 lens set at 120mm shutter 1/15 aperture f/6.3 ISO 200.

Great shot Gerry, love the pose of the fox, maybe you could try iso400 and take a faster shuttertime? just a thought of me, but great shot!

The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken. Homer (800 BC - 700 BC), The Odyssey (note: beer substituted for wine)

I love his face... So full of curiosity and other expressions... And I like how the dark up-close folliage frames it naturally.
