This shot was taken yesterday morning as I was walking through this meadow looking to take macros of dying vegetation. It caught my eye how these Milkweed seeds took over this bare structure of this wildflower...caught the picture with backighting...sort of surreal effect...

Hey Gerry, this is just awesome, everything about it I like, for me this is one of your best yet, a big well done M8.

Mark.

I love your macros. They look like they are out of a science textbook. I like the lighting. Very nice, Gerry.

For me, winter brings a special joy because I love drawing and painting bare branches. For some reason, the underlying structure is frequently more appealing to me than the finished product. I like your use of a light-colored frame to highlight the aerial quality of the seed pods remaining on the plant. This one is on my desktop right now!

When I first saw this in thumbnail I thought it was an Indian Necklace being displayed by Native American. When I looked in full size the image remained. Left side of photo looks like arm. Therefore I guess surreal is apt description. Just fabulous Gerry.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
