This picture was taken a few mornings back. Right here I have seen the Deer cross the walking path many times...it is a well traveled route of theirs. The morning I took this I wandered up this path quite a bit and when I was coming back sure enough they were crossing the path. There was five of them but all Does...no Buck...although only four in this picture.

It's a lovely picture, even without the deer it would be but of course they make it special.

Gerry, this is indeed a wonderful image. I know that's pretty hard to make such a capture (spent once almost a whole day in a nature preserve of which the manager said he sees every day plenty deer there, but didn't succeed to capture even one.). Thanks for this post. Regards, Cornelius

I have one picture of a deer that I took this year...but all I got was it running into the woods. How far away were you when you took this? Very nice picture, with the three of them in there. (I took another look full size, and saw the fourth.) It's hard to get a picture of one, let alone four. Great job.

Great photo. Generally the buck sends the does across first to make sure it's safe. Sometimes if you wait for awhile, the buck will appear later. They look nice on photo, almost as nice as on table smothered in mushrooms and onions. lol Nice photo Gerry.

You sure are getting their habits down now, Gerry. What a great group of ladies there posing for you. Looks like snow on the ground?

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
