This picture of this Female Cardinal was taken over a year ago...At Objibway Nature Preserve where I frequent there is a birdfeeder station and an out building right near by with a covered porch that photographers and birdwatchers can stand about 5 to 10 feet from birds. This is where this picture was taken and a lot of my songbird pictures are taken.

It looks like the cardinal is about to say.."OK, Buster. What do you think you are doing?" She has such an intent look in her eye. Very nice again, Gerry. I like the color of the frame, also.

Just perfect, Gerry! It inspires me to see if I can find a similar place around here somewhere. I love watching the birds through our kitchen window and we have lots of cardinals, but I can't get pictures through the double glass.

A stunning capture indeed Gerry, nice little bird, we dont have any like that in the UK, well....I have never seen them if we have, a real nice photo, and the DoF is just superb my old chap.
