Beautifully done, Gerry. You've rendered of the subtleties of color in this young bird very well. We had a very long rainy season this spring and had a bumper crop come harvest time. The hunting was very good, but I'm not quite sure enough were harvested. I'm putting out food this year, because there are so many still hanging around. I'm afraid a lot of birds will starve this winter.

The dove has a look on it's face like he is mad at something. Maybe at you for taking it's picture. Well, that's gratitude for ya. You make him famous by putting his picture on the internet, and he gets upset. Some birds are never happy. LOL. Very nice Gerry.
