Took this shot last Thursday morning in Nature Preserve. These lilies are just starting to bloom. There is an area in bush covered with these flowers and so green and lush right now within canopy of high trees that are not fully leafed out. This is dedicated to all Mother's on this special weekend. This is one of my Mother's favorite flowers. There was a lot of them growing beside our house under a canopy of trees when I grew up...they only bloom here in May but are very fragrant and have such a delicate white flower in contrast to there lush green foliage.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
There is a cologne named Muguet des Bois, that smells like lily of the valley and was very popular for years. It is just a very soothing smell and this image is very soothing as well. Perfect clarity and very simply and wonderfully framed. This is just so very beautiful, Gerry.

OH, Mr. P! This is right up there close to the top of my list of fave flowers. My mother also used to have a grand patch of them near our house in Vermont, and I just loved seeking them out in the spring. I've tried unsuccessfully to grow them here, but I certainly miss them and appreciate this pic!

An excellent shot Gerry! These wonderful flowers are growing in the wild here too. They are just starting to bloom. They are so delicat and beautiful and you have captured that in a very good way. Very well done!
