Another wildflower blooming right now. This one is called Goat's - beard...sometimes I wonder where they get some of these names for these wildflowers....

Just 'cause they're wild doesn't mean they aren't beautiful. This one is gorgeous! I'll have to look and see if they have it around here.

Fantastic. A virtual supernova of light and color.

Ask your Congressmen and Senators why our existing wells aren't pumping more than 3 days a month? There a lot of unused capacity in existing wells.

I think they all go to the pub, hoist a few and take turns naming things. This is a great post Gerry. Love the bright color.

This is an unusually beautiful photo of this flower. It is so simple, delicate and just pure lovely. This flower is part of the Aster family. The ground root can be used as a poultice for bee stings And an infusion of these can be used to soak tired aching feet. Are those grasses near it or part of the flower stalk itself? Wildflowers are wonderful, some of edible things about them, some, like this one, can be useful for other things. I love how this flower looks and would love to try to do a canvas painting of it soon. Thank you for a beautiful shot...verena
