What a good and clever shot.I think only making the bird and its perch in focus was brilliant. A wonderful photo.

Nice shot; love the way the fuzziness around the outside pushes your focus straight to the bird, like the vegetation almost isn't there.

I agree with everyone! I really think you did a good job calling attention to the bird. If it was all in focus the little guy would get lost in the detail!
