This was shot while we were feeding bald eagles, believe it or not, while in Juneau. We threw scraps of meat up in the air, and if the eagles missed it on the first shot, they would dive down and catch the meat before it hit the ground. That's what this one is going for.

Oh Ive seen Hawks divebomb like this. IT makes a person feel they are going to "crash and burn"....but they are swift for sure. You got this photo perfectly...stopped it right in its dive..great shot.

My part is to improve the present moment....
Good timing to shoot this photo and good angle to view the Hawks. I wish to find a chance to capture a moment like that. Keep the good work !

What a treat it is to see this majestic bird in motion! Eagles are really beautiful, and seeing them close up is very rare. Thanks for posting.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
That's as close as this shot gets (thanks to Kodak 2.1 MP 3x zoom...) I have a couple others of eagles in flight that are a bit closer, and I'll post those post-haste.
