Facts about tarantulas.If they bite it is like a bee sting and most times they dry bite. They can have a good feed and some then can go a year without food. But must have water. They come in all sizes and some have blow away colours.If you get bit by it because you did not heed there warnings.Some will flick hair to say get away and others just rear up or run away. I do hope you like this capture.It's a locus for dinner.

The one thing that spooks me about them is not their bite...It's that slow, gradual inch-by-inch way they approach potential prey...before they spring into action...Y-i-i-i-i-i! Nice capture and presentation...Favs...

I think my roomie had one of these. I didn't know it till I went into his room to get a movie one day, turned around, and saw it in the closet. NOT what I was expecting to see, AT ALL.
