This to me is one very strange hazel tree with it's twisted branches and the squirrels love it when it produces it nuts in autumn. This tree is in my neighbors garden and the squirrel stripes it of it's nuts every year and leaves them with not one nut lol. I had to photograph the squirrel to prove it was not me.

We believe you Roger, honestly. And did this squirrel also happen to hang out with a moose by-chance. :)
A beautiful shot of this unusual looking tree. Love the curls and curves in the branches. Nice lighting and colours, a great job Roger!

I think you have created a hazel fractal. Pretty nice work, Giz.

I never see a hazel tree before, so I don't know what it supposed to look like. But that is a very interesting tree indeed. I bet those squirrel also make it their playground. Thank you for showing me the picture. It's a very nice capture. ^_^

Hello Roger!

This is a very wonderful work of you! ENCHANTED! It seems a natural fractal jewel and the color of the background made the whole very elegant! I am laughing here with your history about the squirrels. Delicious post! Congratulations!

I didnt know these were called Hazel trees. Over here in Oregon we call them Corkscrew Trees, and they actually sell the branches!! One by one. People love the twisted things. I do too.
I love seeing yours in bloom. Very lovely photo. Verena
