Very hard to take shot and nice postwork to make the background black. Sharpness is really great for both the photo and thorns.

A nice sharp photo, Roger. lol. A good shot of the thistle and it's many friends. Lovely colours and composition, it looks nice set against the black background. The lighting is a little over-exposed in places and the yellow area seems out of place with the rest of your image. Good work and thanks for sharing.
