The bridge goes over the river Soar leading to a lovely pavilion were you can rest and have a drink and a bite to eat. At great prices too.The park was officially opened by the Prince and Princess of Wales, on Whit Monday, 29 May 1882.The park also contains the remains of the 12th century Leicester Abbey and the ruins of Cavendish House

Your country has so many bridges, building, houses and etc. to photography Roger. You do it well.

So many things in your great composition, Roger. This bridge draws attention first, then this nice building. Finally the stream and the reflection of the building on it. The leafless branches of the tree and the bush on the bottom finishes your framing. Great depth of focus and colors.

The bridge and the building look terrific, and so is the warm light you have managed to capture so well!
A very good post.

Roger, this is a beautiful image and such a wonderful building. I really like the the way the tree branches are framing the top of this shot with the bridge drawing your eyes to the building. Bravo on composition

Who ever designed this bridge is a master. It has great lines and you captured the details masterfully as well.

A very lovely looking scene Roger and a nice view. A nice reflection and good lighting, I like the framing with the branch at the top of the shot. Good details and textures.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
