A nice composition of the scene and good capture, Roger. I like the back lighting in the photo. Good use of the effects brush and beautiful colours.

The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does. ~William Blake

Good photo and effect Giz. The gull is getting out of there before it gets electrocuted.

You always do these so well...beautiful scenery and great work with the effects and catching that gull in flight...nicely done, Roger.

In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art. ~Rumi~

I will say this, I am not a big fan of this type of manipulation but this is not over done and I must say it's quite effective. Just gentle enough for effect but not over the top as to destroy the image. Very nice Roger:)

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
