This is a piece from my A-level photography mixed media exam. Couple of shots from around London, pieced together in photoshop with different hues, then printed out, gone over with acrylic, watercolour, chalks and biro, then scanned back in. Thought I would update my gallery a little bit with things I've as a slightly more educated "adult", seeing as I'm now doing this at degree level... just a little taster of some of my experiments. Comments appreciated, constructive criticism is also good guys :D x

Nice to 'see' some stuff from you, my dear.

More to come..

In the interim, two words on the constructive critiquing front; 'buckle up'.

>:D

... ...

And here it is..

I like the individual elements and shots themselves. Colour palette.

Proportions make sense. Being much more critical, a tad .. *gasp* .. pedestrian? Since nearly equal in comparative size?

Flow.

Good.

Feel.

'Discordant'. Which is, good good.

Out of the realm of my expertise here, really. But ... that won't stop me from placing some words. Heck, no. :oP

Have to take this in some more, Gem. With that said ... more, please.

:o)

Put me down for an interesting image as well and throw in a good dollop of unusual rounded off with a very creative piece of art. Good work and thanks for sharing.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

Nice idea to want to mix different type of image. Caution always keep your goal in mind to not deviate and find yourself with an image that fits you more. This image is a bit overloaded tr has my taste. Example the "flower" on top left which I think has no place because you seem the work on a BASIS Architecture. I also think that the overlay of the blue building could be different would (in all cases retain the missing corner on the right side of image). But this is only my humble opinion.

Good day / evening.

I can see that you put a lot of hard work into this posting. It paid off with an interesting combination of imagery.

To err is human. To forgive was never my strong suit.
