I caught this a little fellow today, and he was quite happy to have his picture taken. :o) The image is heavily cropped, and the shutter speed was only 1/60th of a second !! Seems my cameras image stabilisation unit works well hey. :o)

Yes, your camera IS works quite well. Which camera would that be, Phil? A lovely spring like shot, well cropped.

So you had it tough hey !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss..... My gallery is here.

Hi Phil, brilliant picture mate! Considering the cropping and shutter speed the focusing is superb!

I am surprised you got such good focus on the bird with all those branches around. Perfectly clear and colorful little birdie. Nice work.

I agree with you pal,, about Robin's sitting for posing!!...I find these very obliging as 'models'!...Cute little critters and colourful too!....But, they can be little sods...always scrapping with other birds!...Good shot here...and a canny presentation...good detail and textures as well!

I'm pretty sure thats a blue bird, they have little red chests and blue coats. That's a great capture!
