It's back onto the nature trail folks. The title reflects the fact that although the photo was taken very recently this long grass of summer past still remains. :o)

I agree with E.J it's a good take and of course that sky is so very pleasing to look at as it is snowing here.

I bet you will be mowing the grass before I am. We still got at least six inches of snow and it is snowing again now. I'm sick of it. I would rather mow than clear snow. This is a pretty good close up. It very colorful with that sky.

Looks just like a Texas summer shot...except for last year. We had so much rain last year that it stayed as green as Ireland. Beautiful to look at, but a real killer when the temp goes above 95F (35C). In August, the temp cools to that around midnight. Hence, the brown, brown grass of home. Now, dust off your knees and take a bow.

Those lazy hazy dayz of summer, stuning Phil, reminds me of when I was young and in love with a certain girl and we spent some time looking at the sky, wonderful photo, and wonderful times for me......

Love the colours and shapes, Phil. I'm a townie, all this Nature is tiring me out! Can we go to the Pub?

I like the center line focus and details. Did you blur this on purpose at the edges to emphasize the blades in the center? Nice job, Phil.
