Yep that's the name of the bird, & it's native to Australia, & it's neighbouring islands. Both sexes are alike so this is probably a mated pair.

I thought I'd alter direction from cute to refined with this distinguished upload.

They appear to be a little bit different around the neck and head. What a lovely pair. What are Australian ducks doing in the UK? Taking a rest from their flight plan? lol A really fine shot, Phil. I'm impressed by your duck shots.
