I've been kinda busy working lately but I may have a few days off b4 Saturday. We're still enjoying great weather in the West Country, & I'm starting to get a suntan. :o) This is photograph taken in my local neighbourhood just a few hours ago.

And now for something completely different folks : I recently heard on local radio a South Wales Police helicopter crew took an evasive manoeuvre to avoid collision with a UFO during take off, & decided to give chase but later withdrew from pursuit due to lack of fuel over the Bristol Channel, the later BBC report tells a different story. If you think I'm having a laugh why not click here ?

What makes me smile is .. what did they expect to do if they caught it. Lol

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. Everyone has photographic memory; some just don't have the film. COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....

This really give a flavor of the non tourist area. Great shot and I notice microwave antennae's. That is between cable and satellite tv I believe. Maybe that is how the UFO's are getting their landing instructions. Nice post Phlossie.

It is a tourist area though Tick, it's a well known red light district in Bristol. I know photography is about many things, & nice is only one piece of the jigsaw.

Big brother's watching you :o) A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... Help I'm being repressed !!

A really good photograph Phil. The composition, focus and colour are all great. This looks so like its counterpart in Liverpool except the houses are built of red brick in Liverpool.

Fabulous capture of the textures of this old building. It looks like some of the buildings built in some of the small towns in Texas in the thirties.

Hope they catch up with those "Marfa lights". Project Bluebook says they don't exist. They are just weather phenomenae.

...aaahhh....another sir flossie shot....Phil, to be honest mate, when I joined this site, I didn't expect to learn from other people's pictures. However, there are so many artists on this site who take a slightly different picture from me, and through seeing life through their lens so to speak, I am gaining a new perspective on life! This pic is brill!!! There's so much going on here, colour, detail, great composition, the bloke with the dog, the advertising board, this is a shot I will come back to and think "didn't see that last time!)...great one mate...but no adds for kit-e-kat I am a little dissapointed!
