This is my first day back in the hot seat folks, & I've been browsing through Phils large jpg folders, & pulled out this one.
This is a Whited Faced Whistling Duck, & it's my old associate Henry .. Oh boy Phil took this photo the 11th of June, Henry's from Peru what the hell is he doing in South Gloucester England !!
Oops sorry for the bad language folks :o( but it still amazes me how birds visit Slimbridge from all across the Globe but so few of them actually belong there .. Anyway I've got to fly now but Phil asked me to put on a targeted song here's one by Glen Campbell, steady now Grandma. :o)...............

Henry looks as if he's a duck of the world and knows all the right people. As he's from Peru I take it he's on at least nodding terms with Paddington Bear.

Oh, Henry looks real sweet. I think the Duke has made a good choice of friends. He'll have someone to "whistle while he works." I must admit he has big feet. I always liked the song. It was my son's favorite as a wee lad. Probably because I played it all the time. Great post Duke and say hi to Phlossie.

Come to think of it, he walks a little like Glen Campbell. Great shot. I listened to Glen with 40-yo ears. He was at his best with the beachboys, but he cranked some might fine singles, later.
