This is another after sunset shot of my favourite bridge folks, this is my third, & perhaps last upload from that night shoot.

There's so much light in the darkness that needs exploring properly, & digital cameras are so much better at it than old 35mm film.

Click on the numbered links as night falls. :o) * No. 1 * No.2 this page * No 3 *

All that linking, & looking at those similar jpgs was beginning to make my head ssspppiinn round, round !

Thank you for all your comments, & goodnight perhaps I'll catch up on my friends list 2morrow. :o)

This is really good Phlossie. I can't make up my mind between #3 and #4. You link isn't working on #2 by the way. Love the blue and the gold of the lights. Just excellent.

This is just magnificent!!! I got it in the VB and had to find the great photographer, and you are it! The angle from where you shot this is fantastic. I've been here often and would never have thought of shooting it from down there. YOu must have walked around a lot to get this great of a photo.Bravo! be proud of this for sure!! VERena

A great trilogy. Sequels don't often improve over the original, but yours go from strength to strength. I'm impressed with the expsosure balance, capturing the twinkle of the lampposts to the red sunset disappearing over the horizon. Good stuff.

Inspiring composition. Enjoy all the lines and curves, and how the lighting on the horizon matches on the bridge. Eye candy.

The glow on the horizon is wonderful as is the lighting for the whole image. The glow makes it look as if Bristol's on fire!

Thank you Billy, & everyone one else for your glowing compliments. :o)

This bridge is the First Severn Crossing which was the 1st bridge to link Bristol / the West Country to South Wales. It's runs across the Severn Estuary which has the 2nd highest tidal wave range in the world !

Click here to discover why this mile long suspension crossing was so welcomed by travellers in 1966. You can also travel the route here but beware it's a white knuckle ride. ;o)

The links in your pics make them worth viewing alone Phloss, but with a picture like this it's even better. I love this picture, and that cloud formation really gives it something. We MUST go back to that bridge!

Phil I sure can see why's it is one of your favorite bridges. We have a beautiful bridge like that near us, called the Mackinaw Bridge connecting the lower and upper parts of Michigan.

Truly a gorgeous night shot, Wow
